    Thank you

I would like to say a big thank you for all your support this week and to those of you who have placed ordered and been so understanding about the late shipping of these orders. Unfortunately my Father in law was taken ill at the weekend which meant that we as a family had to go up to them and deal with some very emotional and worrying things and I haven’t spent very much time on line to be able to update you all on why the shop has been closed and why orders are slow getting out and for that I am sorry. The shop will now be open…

I’ve had lots of lovely new dyers join the shop this 2 weeks and they are doing so well that I am really enjoying having the new variety in. I will be doing a dyer bio on here over the next few weeks for all the dyers currently in the shop. One of these dyers is Yarn For The Soul not only…

    WOW what happened

Ok well that’s been exciting and fun and a bit of a whirlwind The grand opening was held on the 21st July and blimey knitters and crocheters were out in force. It was an amazing day and I loved every minute of it and met lots of lovely people. I would like to thank all the people of Lostwithiel for such a warm friendly welcome and support. The shop has been busy and has been welcomed into the town with open arms. I’ve been so surprised by the amount of interest in the shop and the people that come through the door both local and from afar have all been…

    First Day Nerves

Well I woke up this morning slightly nervous and excited about the day ahead. I have decided to do a soft opening with the shop as it’s not fully stocked yet but there is enough to open. What a day it was too. I can not begin to thank the people of Lostwitheil enough for the reception you have given me and the shop. The people that have popped in to wish us luck, the people who have just popped in to have a nose at what we are doing and to those of you who have been in and purchased something it’s been an amazing day. I can not…

    What A Week

Wow what a week it has been. Firstly I shut the shop in Par expecting to spend the week planning organising and getting works carried out on the shop and then starting the decorating and moving in of furniture. Instead I got a whirl wind. First off my son got sick with Scarlet fever so no school for him and a very long Sunday for me down the hospital with him. Secondly my friends came to help and with Henry’s skills and know how the dangerous polystyrene tiles were removed and the decorating started. Thirdly the electrician rang to say he had had a change in his diary and so…

    Progress

Wow it’s really starting to move at the shop. Unfortunately I am not able to do as much as I would like as my 5 year old has scarlet fever and is off school so it’s evening only at the moment. That said the electrician has been in and carried out the works needed and we now have some super bright LED lights so you can all see the yarn better and we will be able to see what you are knitting. The spot lights in one of the windows have also been removed as they were a fire hazard and had already started to leave burn marks on the…
