Each month here at purl a row we have a different UK based dyer that we feature.
This means we can keep offering you something different and gives you an oppertunity to try someone new and that you may not otherwise get the chance to see/squish/smell and kint or crochet with.
I am pleased to announce that for this year all months have been booked and we have some amazing dyers coming your way. However if you are a dyer or know a dyer that may be interested in going on the reserve list or next years list please do get in touch.
March’s dyer of the month is Dina’s Home Of Crafts
I first met Dina at 3 Bags Full yarn festival in Liskeard Cornwall last year and after seeing her yarns I knew I had to have them in my shop.
Based in Birmingham UK Dina has an array of yarn and accessories available in her shop.
Dina has sent us some amazing colours and I know that she has sent something for everyone from bright and bold to some stunning solids. She has sent some gorgeous fingering weight yarns, some DK yarns and some Cashmere and Silk blend yarns.
You can find Dina’s shop here https://www.dinashomeofcrafts.com/shop-collections
February’s dyer of the month Snuggly Stars Yarn.
Gemma has sent some gorgeous yarns on 3 different bases too. She has sent Yak, Poldale and Sock in the most amazing colour ways and some have already sold out.
Snuggly Stars Yarn is based in the West Midlands and is fairly new to the yarn dyeing scene but you wont be disapointed with her yarn. The yak is my favourite the jewl tones that this base gives to the colour is just stunning.
I’ve added the link to Gemma’s shop above.
January’s dyer of the month Lorna Jane Makes
Lorna is a new dyer and is based in Devon UK
Lorna sent lots of lovely yarns and I was so taken with one skein it didn’t make it to the shelves but I now have a gorgeous pair of socks.
You can find her yarns and stitch markers here https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/LornaJaneMakes?ref=search_shop_redirect
I promise you wont be disappointed with anything from Lorna.
