Direction

When I opened the shop I had a vision and a direction I wanted to go in and of late I have slowly seen that disappear and it move in a new one. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing but it isn’t what I had in mind when I opened the shop. I would like to bring some of that vision back.

Don’t worry I am not changing too much, but I am adding to what I have and you may not see me restock some of the yarns I have now.

When I opened I wanted to stock British wool and that only but I discovered very quickly that probably would never happen and that I needed to have other yarns in to appeal to a broader audience this meant that a great deal of my space is now to everything but British wool and that need’s to change.

I am very much committed to supporting the British wool industry and the farmers that supply us with this most amazing product. (See below for some fun facts)

I currently have British wool in the form of West Yorkshire Spinners products 3 local Cornish wool’s, but this isn’t enough! If I am to keep my vision for the shop going in it’s original direction I need to do more. So over the next few weeks and months I will be increasing the stock size of these small farm wool’s and hopefully providing you with a wonderful choice of one of the best products this country has to offer.

If you know of any small British wool farms you think I must have in the shop let me know.
