Ok well that’s been exciting and fun and a bit of a whirlwind
The grand opening was held on the 21st July and blimey knitters and crocheters were out in force. It was an amazing day and I loved every minute of it and met lots of lovely people.
I would like to thank all the people of Lostwithiel for such a warm friendly welcome and support.
The shop has been busy and has been welcomed into the town with open arms.
I’ve been so surprised by the amount of interest in the shop and the people that come through the door both local and from afar have all been wonderful.
The knit night has really taken off here and I look forward to it every Tuesday evening.
Stock is changing weekly due to demand and running out of several colourways in some of the yarns.
I have a list of new dyers who are going to be coming into the shop and even more british yarn which fills me with so much happiness. British wool is so important and it makes amazing garments and is something I believe we must support wholeheartedly.
Also this week the new sign went up so now you can spot me easily although the yarn in the window is a pretty big give away!
I do close for my summer family holiday on 17th August for 10 days so please do bear this in mind if you are planning a visit.
I look forward to welcoming you into my shop whether you are a knitter, crocheter, spinner or dyer, male or female.
Warm woolly wishes to you all
